water change and activated carbon

Hi, I'm starting with Basic and Balance. Currently, I use Balling ATI, performing 10% water changes every 15 days and using activated carbon continuously. How should I handle these two activities with the Sangokai protocol? I apologize if the answers might be found in the Sangokai A-Z charts, but I'm Italian and don't understand German. Thanks for your help.

You can continue with the water changes. It is not necessary, as the Balance System is designed in a way that it does not accumulate excessive NaCl, but many are used to regular water changes and you can continue to do so.
Continous use of activated carbon is also not a problem with the Sangokai system, but you can think of stopping the carbon use during the 5 week establishing plan of the basis system, as the coal might absorb some trace elements, which you are only dosing in very little amounts during the first 3 weeks of the plan.
